NC FILE EDITOR, 3D VIEWER, BACK-PLOTTER, DNC/MIU and VERIFICATION UtilityView/Edit/Plot/Download your .NC, .CNC, .TAP, .DAT, .274, and most NC Part ProgramsVersion 4.79 (Updated 3/20/07)So What's New with this release? (Download the full brochure 1.2 Mb file) Our inital benchmarks intesting this release are showing a 30%-200% increase in performance on the existing equipment. The addition of DATA-Optimization. DATA-Optimization is targeted for FADAL, HAAS, and Fanuc controls. DATA View - A Windows-based backplotter and NC code editor allows you to view your CNC/Machine Tool Path in text and/or graphically before you cut!
- Are your machine operators editing program after program?
- Are you spending more time editing programs than cutting parts?
Now with DATA View you can graphically view your CNC machine tool path before you cut your part! DATA View is a low-cost 3 axes part program tool path viewer that runs on a PC and is easy to use. DATA View shows the exact path the tool will follow. DATA-View executes all motion as well as Canned Cycles, M Codes, G Codes, Spindle Speeds, Tool Codes, and feedrates! You can also edit your cnc/machine code data:
- Add Record Numbers
- Cut and Paste data
- Run Backwards
- Mirror Motion Data
- Interchange Motion Data
- And Much More!
VEGA DATA View Now Supports SolidsDATA View can read your ASCII and Binary STL files. Give your operators the edge. Display your cutter path on TOP of your solid model!
Easy to Use Tools The VEGA DATA View utility is simple to use with intuitive tools to provide maximum viewing capabilities of your program files. Viewing and editing tools include:
Pick-A-Line- Dynamic Zoom
- Zoom Window
- Rotate
- Pan
- Origin
Pick-A-Line – Allows the user to graphically click on any line, arc, or circle and DATA-View will highlight the correlating text in the text-editing window.
View the Data The VEGA DATA-View allows you to view the NC data in several different ways depending on your viewing needs. View your NC data by:
- Entire file
Feedrates with or without Rapid Commands- By Tools
- By Individual Tool
- By Executed block
- By Selected Region
- Unique M and G Nodes for graphic display
Edit the Data The VEGA DATA-View allows you to edit the NC data with a fast and colorful editor. Use unique colors to indicate specific M and G codes. Editing features include:
- Cut, Copy, Paste, Paste Inverted
- Search/Replace
- Block Renumber with roll-over
- Independent Axis Scaling
- Feedrate Scaling
- Axis Interchange (Swap Axis)
- Axis Mirroring
- Independent Axis Offset
- Z Axis +/- Limits (Plateau)
- Reverse entire file
- Append Multiple Files
- Strip Rapid, Spindle or Feedrate Commands
Tool Path VerificationDATA-View allows you to verify the cutter path by processing the tool path as the CNC would. DATA-View executes all motion as well as Canned Cycles, M Codes, G Codes, Spindle Speeds, Tool Codes, and Feedrates. See potential errors and surface violations before they end up on your part !!!
Reduce Scrap and Broken CuttersPut DATA-View on your shop floor and give your operators an edge. They can view the tool path to aid in set-up, clamp placement, tooling information, cutting feeds, spindle speeds, minimum and maximum cutter locations.
Save Time Create Batch FilesUse the Append File feature to combine multiple files to create a single program from multiple files.
Execute the Tool PathUse the play back feature to run the program graphically to see how the CNC will execute the program. Advanced features include a CNC panel to track and display active M and G codes. Canned cycle definitions are displayed for easy tracking.
Back-PlottingUse DATA-View to make operator cut sheets. Print the selected view in color or black and white.
A Picture Says A Thousand Words The VEGA DATA View Solids version can read both ASCII and Binary STL model files. You can view your STL file with single or multiple cutter path files. Your operators can now see the bigger picture… the complete part!
- Overlay the cutter path on top of the solid model
- Overlay multiple cutter paths
- Offset tool geometry by Tip of Tool or Center of ball
- Convert Binary STL files to ASCII STL format
Save Time and Money – Use DATA View to aid in part set-up and/or clamp placement. See where heavy stock removal will occur.
5 Axis Version for Gimball (Mutating) Heads The VEGA DATA View Solids version has a 5 axis option that displays the tool on its actual vector. This allows the operator to see potential problems associated with the complexities of 5 axis machining.
- Tool is transformed to the tool vector
- Tool length and diameter can be programmed to show relative tool geometry
- Detect collisions or interference points before they can cause MAJOR DAMAGE.
DXF Export for 2-3 Axis Cutter Path The VEGA DATA-View Solids version supports DXF exporting of the cutter path data. Covert your cutter path data into DXF format to use in other CAD systems or application programs.
- Back port your shop floor data into your CAD system
- Convert your cutter path for use in other applications
- Recover lost CAD data from your shop floor
