 Mrs. Haffly's background consists of nearly 20 years of design, graphic arts, and web development. In these years of experience she has been responsible for branding campaigns, strategic marketing, promotion, event planning, advertising, web site design and development, e-commerce (B2B and B2C), trade shows, proposal efforts, online and printed marketing materials, copy writing and editing. She is also an expert in the creation or conversion of technical documentation and drawings for online and interactive use.
Shelly comes to this position as the result of a merger of her nine year-old design firm with Maverick Systems Corporation and adds the creative touch to the team's efforts. She has provided new business development activities for high tech, merchandising, service, DoD, equine, telecom and non-profit organizations. Shelly takes a practical and user centered approach to her endeavors, however she has also provided high-end efforts where the client dictated, "cost is no object".
Shelly Haffly has 19 years of art direction and production, graphic design, technical illustration and writing, product development and promotion, training and editing experience in both commercial and DoD environments. She is fluent in over 50 software packages used to develop 2D and 3D art and graphics, publishing, and web site development. She has also been involved in several significant e-commerce and supply chain management web projects, and has managed large projects involving the conversion of technical documentation for online use for several key telecommunication firms.
Shelly is a firm proponent of the World Wide Web Consortium and the standards being developed for internet based design. She is also a champion of CSS standards based design and development and has been a significant resource for many companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
With her background, Mrs. Haffly is able to lead teams of any required size to the successful accomplishment of any advertising, promotional, marketing, proposal or other new business development consulting effort.
