Maintenance Mechanic, Supervisor, Project Management, Troubleshooting, Electronics Technician - Vince Thompson has over 20 years in industrial and commercial maintenance, the last 12 specializing in the plastics industry where he obtained a managerial position of maintenance supervisor for a large Fort Worth plastic manufacturer.
Vince's hands on attitude throughout his career even during management allowed him to become well balanced in the entire process of injection molding and extruding, from machine delivery through production.
His background started in electronics and expanded into mechanical and hydraulics. Vince has installed various types of injection mold machines, old and new, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic hook-ups and troubleshooting of the entire systems.
Vince has experience installing and maintaining Vandorn DeMag, Milicron, Reed, Toshiba, Engles, and Newbury in the injection molding machines. A Merritt Davis 8" extruder and all the auxillary systems that support injection mold and extrusion machines.
