Randy BruceRandy Bruce began his extensive career in laser alignment and calibration with a 15 year period at General Motors in Lansing, Michigan. While at GM, Randy worked with the machine rebuild team and developed the use of the Hamar L-711 system for scrapping and ensuring machines were rebuilt to be flat, straight, parallel, and square. This led to the development of a central rebuild facility in Lansing for GM. In 1993 he was employed by Hamar Laser to work in their National Training and Service Center. By working directly for Hamar Laser, Randy became an expert in laser systems and used them extensively on a wide variety of machines in many industries. He also had input into the design and development of new alignment equipment for new markets, and changes for existing equipment. Over time, Randy helped develop new techniques and procedures for alignment practices. He had direct input into the systems that are produced today such as the Extruder, Sheave, Shaft, Spindle, and Geometry systems. Randy's work encompassed printing presses to paper machines, machine installation/calibration to power generation plants, fiber optic towers to locomotive engines. While at Hamar they also purchased a Renishaw Interferometer and Ball Bar system, which allowed them the capability to perform complete machine tool calibration. In October of 1999, he left Hamar as a direct employee and started his own company.

Mr. Bruce wanted to not only provide customers with laser alignment services but also Infrared Imaging, Airborne Ultrasound, and Vibration Analysis & Balancing. Mr. Bruce has networked with associates around the country so that he can provide a wide range of capabilities for his customers. His main objective is to provide the customer with second to none service and training. While providing these he also can facilitate the customer in the purchase of equipment if they so desire. One of the benefits that he offers is that his trainers and most of his sales staff are also field technicians. The equipment he sells is also the same equipment that he uses in the field.
