 Mr. Head's industry experience includes over thirty years of turnarounds in New Business Development, Program Management, Applied Research and Development, Design Development, Quality Programs, Information Systems (to include MRP/MRP II Implementations), Operations (Manufacturing and Procurement), Service, and After Market Operations. Jim has spent over twenty years in top level management. Asset and personnel responsibility has exceeded $3 billion.
Prior to his position at Maverick, Mr. Head ran the Service Division for a large German company, responsible for the NAFTA Region in Postal Automation Systems. His Service Division was responsible for the largest installed base of Postal Automation Systems and Equipment in the world. This last position involved a significant turnaround.
During the reengineering effort of the first year, the bookings/sales/profits forecast requirements imposed by the company were exceeded with a growth of 15% over the first year and 31% over the second year. In his third year running the Service Division, the division installed more than $480 million of new systems, $42 million of initial spares, and more than $40 million of Service peculiar business.
Mr. Head also initiated an e-commerce effort that would tie all material suppliers into the Service Division After Market Sales efforts, using SAP/R3™. During this same period Jim invented a new product named Simon ™. The Simon™ product and sub-portions of it have received several national awards. This product promises to change dramatically how maintenance and services are accomplished in the future. Maverick Systems Corporation is licensed to offer this product .
Mr. Head's technical background involves aircraft systems, weapon systems, ICBM Systems, electronic warfare systems, postal automation systems, electronic performance support systems, training systems, and software development.
Turnaround/reengineering efforts, management experience, and hands-on experience were with companies dealing in these technical areas.
Mr. Head received his BS in Physics and Math.
Mr. Head has held high level military clearances that can be re-acquired if the need arises for Government Clearance. |
